It was the first night of the inaugural CaesarsCasino.com Snooker Shoot-Out tonight at the Tower Circus Arena in Blackpool. All in all there were 30 players on display and 15 matches. The highlights included: Ronnie O'Sullivan v Marco Fu and John Higgins v Mark Williams.

Today the WPBSA announced its brand new coaching programme at the World Snooker Academy in Sheffield. It will be run by former world champions Steve Davis and Terry Griffiths over the course of a weekend.

It's the start of the inaugural CaesarsCasino.com Snooker Shoot-Out this Friday at the Circus Arena, Blackpool. For the first time in a Snooker event all of the top 64 players are competing in the televised stages of an event. The event features one frame matches, shot clocks and more with the winner taking £32,000.

Its the last day and the final of the Ladbrokes Mobile Masters 2011 and I was in attendance once again. The two players to make it through to the final were China's Ding Junhui and Hong Kong's Marco Fu who had both been playing spectacular this week.

After seven days of competition and seven top seeds loosing in the first round we are finally left with the two best players of the week in the final. Competing for their inaugural title of Ladbrokes Mobile Masters champion and the grand prize of £150,000 is China's Ding Junhui against Hong Kong's Marco Fu.

After six days of top drawer Snooker, some terrible shots and plenty of first round shock exit's, we are left with our four semi-finalists. Who would of predicted this line-up? First up is Hong Kong's Marco Fu against giant-slayer Mark Allen. And in the evening it's the shotgun Jamie Cope against the dragon Ding Junhui.

After four days of intense, often scrappy performances we have our eight quarter-finalists. A week of shocks mean the highest ranked amongst those to have made it through include Neil Robertson, Ding Junhui and Peter Ebdon. Its time for the quarter-finals preview!

Its the fourth day at the Ladbrokes Mobile Masters at Wembley Arena, London, and the last of the first round matches play to a conclusion. So far six out of six top seeds have been knocked out, would Neil Robertson and Shaun Murphy follow the trend? They faced the Crucible king Stephen Hendry and Masters newcomer Jamie Cope.

The BBC along with World Snooker chairman Barry Hearn has signed a new deal to screen the World and UK championships, Masters and Welsh Open until the end of the 2013/2014 snooker season.

Its day three of the Ladbrokes Mobile Masters at Wembley Arena and the crowd's favourite and local lad Ronnie O'Sullivan was in action today against the pride of Northern Ireland, Mark Allen. Also up was on-fire Stephen Maguire against Hong Kong's Marco Fu.
