Maria Catalano has ended Reanne Evans' 90-match unbeaten run on the women’s snooker circuit. The 29-year-old’s historic 3-1 victory came in the semi-finals of the inaugural Northern Championship at the North East Derbyshire Snooker Centre, Clay Cross.

After losing 4-3 to Anthony Hamilton in the first round of PTC5 it has been confirmed that the seven-times world snooker champion Stephen Hendry will be out of the elite top 16 for the first time in 23 years.
