Snookers best known players make a return to Ireland this month in the Alex Higgins International Trophy (PTC8) at the Killarney Convention Centre, Killarney. Held from October 20-23 players such as Ronnie O'Sullivan, Judd Trump, John Higgins and local hero Ken Doherty are all set to appear.

The 2010 Betfred.com World Champion Neil Robertson has won his first title since capturing the World Open last year by beating former Shanghai Masters champion Ricky Walden 4-1 in the final of PTC6 at the Arena Ursynów in Warsaw, Poland. 

The South West Snooker Academy (SWSA) in Quedgeley is working closely with community and volunteer groups across Gloucestershire. In recognition of the invaluable work done by countless volunteers the SWSA is inviting Voluntary Organisations, Schools and Comminity Groups to visit the Academy.
