Without doubt Ronnie O’Sullivan is the most influential snooker player in the world, so you would do your best to keep him happy.

However, World Snooker chairman Barry Hearn doesn’t appear to be in O’Sullivan’s good books at present. The current favourite for the Betway UK Championship claimed that Hearn is running a ‘dictatorship.’

If you asked a snooker fan at your local club how Ronnie O'Sullivan was able to equal the joint-record of five ranking titles in a single season last year, they'd probably say it's because he's the greatest of all time, or possibly a genius.

Both are partially true, but O'Sullivan himself reckons he's achieved something a bit more special and unique than that. O'Sullivan, who has spent 25 years on the pro tour, reckons it's down to his new recent healthy-eating diet.

Ronnie O'Sullivan has further extended the record of most century breaks made in professional events by knocking in a further two to reach 950 total in his semi-final victory against Stuart Bingham at the Shanghai Masters. 

Five-time World Snooker Champion Ronnie O'Sullivan has confirmed that he is pulling out of the upcoming European Masters event in Lommel, Belgium.

Ronnie “The Rocket” O’Sullivan is quite simply the greatest player to ever pick up a cue. This is obviously high praise for anyone but you’ll be hard pressed to find anyone in the entire world who disagrees with you, and if they do, they are wrong.

The World Snooker Championship at Sheffield’s Crucible Theatre remains the green baize sport’s showpiece event, but has the format grown a little stale? Five-time winner Ronnie O’Sullivan certainly thinks so after blasting the tournament as “boring”. The Rocket recently indicated on social media he could miss the end-of-season event to film a pool TV show, Hustle, in Australia.

Ronnie O'Sullivan continues to entertain sports fans and despite recently crashing out of the 2018 Masters to eventual champion Mark Allen, he is still playing top-class snooker 25 years after first bursting onto the scene.
