After beating the Republic of Ireland and then favourites Wales in the semi-finals, the Chinese team of Ding Junhui & Liang Wenbo went one better by beating Northern Ireland 4-2 in the final of the PTT-EGAT Snooker World Cup in Thailand.

Just like with the Masters a few months back, many top seeds fell at the very first hurdle in this year's Bank of Beijing China Open first round. This included the likes of defending champion Mark Williams, Ronnie O'Sullivan and Stephen Maguire.

After six days of top drawer Snooker, some terrible shots and plenty of first round shock exit's, we are left with our four semi-finalists. Who would of predicted this line-up? First up is Hong Kong's Marco Fu against giant-slayer Mark Allen. And in the evening it's the shotgun Jamie Cope against the dragon Ding Junhui.
