Mark Davis has won a Six-Red World Championship title for the second straight year and the third time in his career, beating Neil Robertson 8-4 in the final at the Montien Hotel in Bangkok.

World Snooker Champion Ronnie O'Sullivan has won his first event of the season, putting in a impressive performance to beat Gerard Greene 4-0 in the final of the Paul Hunter Classic (Euro Tour 4) in Furth, Germany.

Ricky Walden has won his fourth professional title at the Doncaster Dome, beating Marco Fu 4-3 to claim victory in the final of the Bluebell Wood Open (Euro Tour 3). 

Sean "The Storm" O'Sullivan has qualified for his first major ranking event venue as a professional, beating practice partner Martin Gould 4-3 to reach the televised stages of the Indian Open in Dehli next October.

Two-times World Champion Mark Williams has won his first televised event in close to three years, beating Mark Selby 4-3 in the final of the Rotterdam Open, the first professional snooker tournament in Holland for over two decades.

India will host it's first professional World Snooker ranking event later this season, the Indian Open. Held in the capital city of Delhi on the 14-18th of October, it will see the game's top stars compete for a total prize fund of £300,000.

Hong Kong's Marco Fu has won only the second world snooker ranking title of his long career, by beating home favourite and world no.1 Neil Robertson 9-6 to win the Australian Goldfields Open 2013 in Bendigo.

Joe Perry has won his second trophy of the season by recovering from 3-1 down to beat Barry Hawkins 4-3 in the final of the Pink Ribbon charity pro-am at the South West Snooker Academy, Gloucester.

Neil Robertson has become the first player to win consecutive ranking events in China by coming from 5-2 down and winning six frames in a row to ultimately see off John Higgins 10-7 in a thrilling final at the Wuxi Classic.

John Higgins has won the first trophy of the 2013/2014 professional snooker season by coming from a frame down to beat Neil Robertson 4-1 in the final of the Victoria Bulgarian Open in front of a packed crowd in Sofia.
