It's the fourth day at the International Centre, Telford and one player who is back on the up is Northern Ireland's best; Mark Allen. Who impressed today with a win over the defending UK Champion, Ding Junhui. Mark had a strong 6-2 lead overnight after the first session but saw his lead slip away when Ding made breaks of 78 and 103. The next two frames were shared to set up a nerve-racking decider. Ding made a 35 break before missing an easy black. Allen got back in and made a match winning clearing of 40. He now faces Ronnie slayer Stuart Bingham who demolished Marco Fu 9-2, the best score of the last 16.
