John Higgins has won the first trophy of the 2013/2014 professional snooker season by coming from a frame down to beat Neil Robertson 4-1 in the final of the Victoria Bulgarian Open in front of a packed crowd in Sofia.
The qualifying for the Wuxi Classic 2013 is over and legends Steve Davis, Ken Doherty and Jimmy White all won their matches to make it through to China, along with ladies world champion Reanne Evans. Meanwhile Shaun Murphy and Mark Selby lost to Alex Davies and  Andrew Pagett respectively.
Ronnie O'Sullivan has successfully defended his Betfair World Snooker Championship crown at the Crucible Theatre, Sheffield, and he lifts the trophy for the fifth time in his career. He beat Barry Hawkins 18-12 in tonight's final.

Experienced pros Ricky Walden & Stuart Bingham will be finally making their debut appearances in the quarter-finals of the Betfair World Snooker Championship after Walden saw off Rob Milkins 13-11 & Bingham beat Mark Davis 13-10. Ronnie O'Sullivan also made it through, a 13-8 winner against Ali Carter.
