Ding Junhui made the sixth 147 maximum break of his career today at the Welsh Open in Cardiff. Despite making the £12,000 winning break in the sixth frame, he went on to lose the quarterfinal match 5-2 to Neil Robertson.
Although Ding went on to lose the match, his run in Cardiff this week, plus this amazing maximum break, will give him a huge boost of confidence as he aims to climb up the rankings and secure an automatic top.16 spot for the World Snooker Championship in April.
