Davis & co warm up for Sheffield half marathon

Former world champions Steve Davis, Shaun Murphy, Peter Ebdon and a host of other snooker players, managers and officials will be running the Sheffield half marathon on May 27th to raise money for the Paul Hunter Foundation.

Six-times world champion Steve Davis is leading the contingent of snooker players, officials and managers to run the Sheffield Half Marathon on the 27th of May to raise money for the Paul Hunter Foundation.

The registered charity was established in 2006 in memory of three-times Masters champion Paul Hunter with the specific aim of giving disadvantaged, able bodied and disabled youngsters an opportunity to play snooker at venues all around the country.

Along with Davis the other big names running the half-marathon include former world champions Peter Ebdon & Shaun Murphy, top professionals Matthew Selt, Andrew Higginson & Jamie Jones and even the chairman of the WPBSA Jason Ferguson.
