Mark Davis & Mark King recorded two of the best wins of their careers, beating seeded players John Higgins 10-6 & Mark Allen 10-8 respectively in the first round of the Betfair World Snooker Championship 2013 at the Crucible, Sheffield.

The Northern Irish duo of Mark Allen & Joe Swail both made it through their matches on the first day of action at the Dafabet PTC Grand Finals 2013 in Galway, Ireland. 

'The Pistol' Mark Allen has successfully defended his Haikou World Open title on Hainan Island in China. He comfortably beat Matthew Stevens 10-4 in Sunday's final.

Martin Gould won his second televised pro tournament, by beating Mark Allen in the final of the Betfair Snooker Shoot Out at Blackpool to take home the trophy and the £32,000 first prize.
