Neil To Miss PTC Finals

Neil To Miss PTC Finals

World Champion and world no.1 Neil Robertson will not be making the trip to Ireland next year for the PTC finals after loosing 4-2 to namesake Jimmy Robertson in Prague.

Unfortunately for Neil Robertson he didn't get off to the best of starts in the PTC events, and it continued throughout the last couple months and he was wasn't even able to reach a quarter final, loosing today 4-2 to English pro Jimmy Robertson in the second round of EPTC6.

This means now him along with Ronnie O'Sullivan, Ding Junhui, John Higgins and Stephen Hendry will not be playing in the televised finals in Dublin in March as they havent either made it into the top 24 on the order of merit or not played in enough events.

With so many of the top pros out it will be interesting to see which of the lower ranked players will step up to the mark and show what they can do in a televised tournament after playing so well in the cubicles all season.
